Govinda Naam Mera

Karan Johar has unveiled the character posters for the upcoming romantic comedy film Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film stars Vicky as Govind Waghmare. Bhumi plays Govinda’s wife in the film while Kiara portrays the role of his girlfriend, according to the posters. The film will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from December 16.

Vicky also shared a poster of the film featuring all three actors and wrote, “Murder, mystery, madness & masala - ALL coming to your home screens!”

CAT

Netflix has dropped the trailer of its upcoming Punjabi-language crime-thriller series CAT. The show is jointly directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal and Jimmy Singh. It stars Randeep Hooda, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Aggarwal, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Jaipreet Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, Pramod Pathal, KP Singh and Kavya Thapar.

In the one-minute-40-second-long trailer, Randeep plays a civilian police informant Gurnam, who is forced to give away classified information to save the life of his brother. His new job also forces him to come to terms with his criminal past.

CAT will be streaming on Netflix from December 9.

Inside

Focus Features has released the trailer for its upcoming film Inside. Directed by Vasilis Katsoupis, known for My Friend Larry Gus, it stars Willem Dafoe, Gene Bervoets, Eliza Stuyck and Josia Krug in important roles.

The two-minute-32-second-long trailer follows Nemo (Dafoe), an art thief trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist doesn’t go as planned. Locked inside the apartment with nothing but priceless works of art, he must make all efforts to survive.

Inside will arrive in cinemas on March 10, 2023.

The Old Way

Lionsgate Movies recently dropped the trailer of its upcoming western film The Old Way. Directed by debutant Brett Donowho, the film stars Nicolas Cage, Clint Howard, Kerry Knuppe and Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Noah Le Gros, Clint Howard, Abraham Benrubi, and Nick Searcy.

In the one-minute-52-second-long trailer, we see Cage as a cold-blooded gunslinger Colton Briggs, who comes out of retirement after his wife is murdered by outlaws. While his 12-year-old daughter is still in danger, he sets out to seek his revenge and put a stop to the outlaws once and for all.

The Old Way will hit the theatres on January 6, 2023 and on Lionsgate Play on January 13, 2023.

Elemental

Disney’s Pixar has unveiled the teaser-trailer of its upcoming animated film Elemental. Directed by Peter Sohn, the film features the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively.

The one-minute-27-second-long clip introduces Ember (Leah Lewis), a quick-witted ‘fire element’ seeking her place in a world where she doesn't quite fit in. Wade (Mamoudou Athie), a kind, go-with-the-flow ‘water element’, challenges her worldview when they become friends. Ember can be seen in the teaser moving on a crowded train, wearing a hoodie.

Elemental will arrive at cinemas on June 16, 2023.
