Actress, entrepreneur, new mum — birthday girl Alia Bhatt wears many hats. The Darlings star, who delivered back-to-back hits last year, rocks Instagram with her candid posts ranging from couple selfies with husband Ranbir Kapoor to pawsome moments with her cat Edward. Here’s a look at what makes the 30-year-old a hit among fans on social media.
Before tying the knot with Ranbir in April last year, Alia had tried to keep her relationship under the radar. The actress finally confirmed their relationship with a birthday post for Ranbir in 2020. Later in 2021, a hand holding picture set the relationship in stone.
The actress’ first love is her cat Edward, her constant companion and partner in crime. From lazy-ing around on Sundays to posing for wedding pictures together, the two are inseparable. Alia even named her clothing brand, Edamamma, after her cat.
Alia has been open about her pregnancy and postpartum journey on Instagram. The actress shared a picture of her performing an asana upside down, one-and-a-half-month after the birth of her daughter, Raha.
“To my fellow mamas, listening to your body post delivery is key. Do NOT do anything your gut tells you not to. For the first week or two during my workouts, all I did was breathe… walk… find my stability and balance again,” Alia wrote.
While working out is an everyday activity for Alia, she never fails to indulge in burgers and fries once in a while.
The 30-year-old also seems to enjoy her workouts a lot more with songs she can vibe to. Before the release of Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Alia shared a fun video of her working out while listening to the Tere Pyaar Mein song from the film.
Her closest companion is her sister Shaheen Bhatt who often makes appearances on Alia’s Instagram. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress is the most candid and natural with her sister and the two often share skincare secrets with their followers and make fun video reels with each other.
The actress never fails to update fans about her films and always shares pictures from the sets of her projects. Alia spent Holi 2023 in Kashmir, shooting the last few scenes of her upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Accompanying her were her daughter Raha, her mother Soni Razdan, Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh.
Alia is also set to share screen space with Gal Gadot in her upcoming Hollywood debut Heart of Stone.
