Actress-turned-producer Pooja Bhatt was given the responsibility of conducting auditions among the housemates and casting them in different roles as part of a ration task in the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, streaming on JioCinema.

Pooja's task involved selecting three contestants each for various roles such as hero, heroine and villain, and they would then audition for the roles she had in mind. Based on their performances throughout the season, she would assign them roles as if they were actors in her upcoming film.

However, the final decision on whether her casting choices were accurate or not rested with the audience. The successful completion of this task would ensure the safety of the house's ration, while failure would lead to a significant penalty.

Before the task began, Pooja took a moment to approach her co-contestants and asked them to sum up their journey inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house in just one word. She also had a word of advice for Elvish Yadav.

"You were real even in the dictatorship and devil tasks. That's something I'll always remember. After the show, life will begin anew, and you won't need to prove anything to anyone," Pooja said.

At the end of the task, Pooja chose Bebika Dhurve as the villain, Jiya Shankar as heroine, Jad Hadid as hero’s friend, Aashika Bhatia as crowd and Manisha Rani as passing shot. This led to an altercation between Pooja and Manisha, and the latter burst out in tears. According to the live feed of Bigg Boss OTT 2, the audience rejected Pooja’s choices.

Meanwhile, Pooja shared her views on love during a candid conversation with the housemates, expressing her deep passion for it but also mentioning that she had decided to take a break from it for some time. She reflected on how her feelings towards love had evolved over the years. In her 20s, she admitted to being possessive and holding onto strong emotions, but with time, she had grown and changed. Now, her expectations from a partner had changed as well.

Pooja mentioned that she sought a deeper connection, a mind-to-mind understanding, and someone who could share comfortable silence with her. Pooja claimed that her journey through love had brought her to a place of self-awareness and a greater understanding of what truly mattered to her in a meaningful relationship.
