The Bigg Boss OTT 2 house witnessed fresh drama on Thursday as Bigg Boss announced a new task in which housemates were asked to rank each other from 1 to 9 — with 1 being the most popular and 9 the least.
While YouTuber Abhishek Malhan topped the ranking, he faced stiff competition from actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who stood second in the task, on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show streaming on JioCinema.
"I have never played the woman card, and I don't engage in unnecessary competition. I believe in open and direct communication, speaking to people face-to-face while maintaining eye contact. My opinions and individuality are the reasons why I was invited to participate in Bigg Boss OTT, even after enjoying a successful career for many years. I always adhere to instructions and respect those in positions of authority," Pooja said while trying to convince the housemates to give her better ranking during the task.
“I'm not seeking validation from rankings. I don't have an addiction to the spotlight, camera, or attention. I was born into this industry, and I will remain a part of it until the end. None of you are my competitors, so my life doesn't come to an end after Bigg Boss. Therefore, I won't engage in activities that would disappoint my fans just for attention,” she added.
Actress Falaq Naaz, the sister of TV actor Sheezan Khan, secured the third place. Ved actress Jiya Shankar, who recently retained her captaincy after a torture task, occupied the fourth position. TV actor Avinash Sachdev was given the fifth place by the housemates, followed by digital content creator Manisha Rani at sixth rank.
Astrologer Bebika Dhurve, who has been in the centre of most altercations in the Bigg Boss house, secured the seventh position, while TV presenter Cyris Broacha held the eighth rank. Dubai-based model Jad Hadid — who courted controversy last week by kissing Akanksha Puri and flashing his butt to Bebika — found himself ranked last.
Meanwhile, Jad was seen packing his bags to leave the show after a heated altercation with Bebika. Following the fight, Jad broke down and expressed his desire to quit due to constant targeting by Bebika.
