Two heated arguments — one between actress Jiya Shankar and astrologer Bebika Dhurve and the other between actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt and actress Palak Purswani — caused a flurry of allegations and counter allegations in the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, streaming on JioCinema.
In Thursday night’s episode, Jiya, actor Avinash Sachdev, TV presenter Cyrus Broacha and actress Falaq Naaz were having a watermelon together. Cyrus and Jiya started joking around by asking each other to cut fruits. Cyrus playfully mentioned that he has Parkinson's and it could be dangerous for him to handle a knife. Jiya made a disapproving expression and asked him, "Where do you come up with such bakwaas (nonsense)?" Cyrus directed the same question to Bebika, who was sitting nearby. The latter promptly mocked Jiya, saying, "Wherever you get your boredom from."
A visibly offended Jiya snapped at Bebika, stating that this kind of rude behaviour is the reason why seven people nominated her during the first nomination for elimination. Jiya accused Bebika of deliberately provoking others and then playing the victim. Bebika walked away, mocking Jiya, which further angered the actress. Bebika went to the washroom area and vented about the fight to Instagram influencer Manisha Rani. Manisha tried to calm her down and advised Bebika to stop ranting.
Meanwhile, another fight broke out between filmmaker-actress Pooja Bhatt and actress Palak Purswani over Manisha. Pooja was trying to sort out a misunderstanding between Manisha and Dubai-based model Jad Hadid when Palak and Jiya walked in. Pooja started shouting at Palak and said that Manisha doesn't intend to insult Jad and has a kind heart.
Manisha broke down in front of Pooja and said people consider her foolish and mock her. Manisha asserted that she is talented and understands the Bigg Boss game well. Pooja comforted her, saying she knows Manisha isn't foolish and should not let it bother her. Jad also hugged Manisha and assured her that he wasn't angry with her. Pooja explained to Jad that Manisha is fond of him, which is why she teases him.
Pooja advised Palak and Jiya not to underestimate Manisha, emphasising that she is more mature than the two of them. Pooja told Palak that just because Manisha is from a small town doesn't mean they should feel superior to her. Pooja also criticised Palak for lacking grace, which sparked a heated argument between them.
