With Bigg Boss OTT 2 on its last leg, the atmosphere in the house became intense on Thursday as Abhishek Malhan, who secured his position as the first finalist of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, got special powers to punish housemates during this week’s ration task.

Bigg Boss asked all the housemates to gather in the garden area, which was converted to a punishment zone, for this challenge. At the very outset, Bigg Boss congratulated Abhishek for becoming the first finalist of the season and announced that he would play a decisive role in this task. The outcome of this task would directly impact the ration for the week.

Abhishek would be asked several questions by Bigg Boss about the other contestants in different rounds. He was required to name a person he believed deserved punishment based on each question. The selected individual would then have to carry out the punishment until Bigg Boss issued the next order.

In the first round, Bigg Boss asked Abhishek who he thought had been engaging in negative gameplay in the house. Abhishek pointed out Bebika Dhurve as the only individual in the house resorting to foul play. He cited instances of her changing personality when nominated, using abusive language, unintentionally harming others and seeking attention. A furious Bebika retorted by taunting Abhishek and asked him to watch his language.

Based on Abhishek’s answer, Bigg Boss assigned Bebika the punishment of doing laundry and hanging it on a wire until further notice. Pooja Bhatt, who is a close confidante of Bebika, offered her moral support during the punishment.

In a surprising turn of events, Abhishek named his friend Manisha Rani for punishment in the second round. Bigg Boss asked him which housemate, according to him, entered the house with a lot of potential but has lost their relevance now. Manisha took Abhishek’s decision sportingly, although Elvish Yadav was visibly upset. As her punishment, Manisha would have to polish shoes until further orders.
