TV actor Avinash Sachdev and YouTuber Abhishek Malhan engaged in a heated argument over the punishment task in the latest episode of Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, denying their housemates a chance to win premium ration this week.

As the current captain, Abhishek was tasked with assigning punishments to deserving contestants. He selected Bebika Dhurve and Manisha Rani in the first two rounds. In the final round, when Bigg Boss asked him to name two gossip mongers among the housemates, Abhishek picked Jiya Shankar and Avinash. Bigg Boss asked Jiya and Avinash to crack jokes about their fellow housemates until they were told to stop. But Avinash refused to accept the punishment, arguing that he never indulges in gossip.

The argument between Avinash and Abhishek escalated with Avinash asserting that everyone in the house engages in talking behind others’ backs. He refused to comply with the punishment, claiming that no one can force him to do anything. An enraged Abhishek asked Avinash not to underestimate his authority. Although Jiya completed the punishment, Avinash continued to refuse Abhishek’s command.

Later, Bigg Boss informed the housemates that owing to Avinash’s failure to complete the task, they would only receive basic ration for the week.

When everyone pointed fingers towards Avinash for this loss, he responded by sarcastically taunting Abhishek. Avinash later told Pooja Bhatt that he had purposely disrupted the task to make Abhishek lose captaincy.
