As Bigg Boss 18 prepares for its grand premiere on October 6, the makers of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show have dropped the first glimpses of the Bigg Boss house. Themed ‘Time Ka Taandav’, this year’s design reveals a stunning homage to ancient caves and forts with motifs inspired by intricate sculptures and an earthy colour palette.
“Naye ghar ke saath naye twist, Bigg Boss Jaante Hai ki yeh season rakhega aapko on the edge of your seat! 😉👁️,” the official handle for the reality show posted on social media along with a video of the Bigg Boss house.
One of the most striking elements is the garden area, with grand pillars and a pathway leading to the house’s entrance. The bathroom area is designed to resemble a luxurious Turkish hammam.
The living room is a perfect fusion of urban sophistication and natural elements, dominated by a large dining table at its centre. Meanwhile, the kitchen transports you to a cave-like environment, adding a rustic charm to meal preparations.
The contestants’ bedroom continues the fort-inspired theme, exuding regal vibes with its majestic decor. And of course, no Bigg Boss house would be complete without its infamous jail area, which has been designed like ancient caves.

Contestant promos
The makers of Salman Khan-hosted reality show have been strategically teasing audiences with cryptic promos of contestants without disclosing their identities. However, fans were quick to connect the dots and identify the celebrities likely to participate in Bigg Boss 18.
One of the most talked-about promos features a popular television actor in a black tuxedo. While his face is not shown on camera, he calls himself Colors Ka Beta. Fans were quick to point out that it could be Vivian Dsena, known for successful shows such as Madhubala and Shakti on Colors TV.
Another promo teases an actor who talks about being publicly humiliated on the sets of a television serial by the producer. Netizens think it could be Shehzada Dhami, who was unceremoniously dropped from the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai a few years ago.
A third promo released by Colors TV features a female contestant saying, “Chhodh ke apna maayka, aa rahi hun apne piya ji ke ghar. Bigg Boss ji aapka intezar rahega.” Fans quickly identified the voice to be that of actress Chaahat Pandey, best known for her role in Pavitra Bandhan.
Earlier, the makers had dropped a promo featuring a popular 1990s actress, which users believe was Shilpa Shirodkar.
