The drill for this week’s captaincy and nominations in Bigg Boss 16 has led to high drama in the house as current ‘raja’ of the house, Shiv Thakare, selected Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia over Tina Datta as his successor.

Chaos erupted instantly with Tina blaming a few contestants for betraying her. She had earlier asked Nimrit to support her unconditionally, urging her to back down from the task. But Nimrit said she could not just not perform a task to let Tina win. She promised to support Tina, but was not prepared to back down from performing the task.

The tale began when most of the contestants agreed that Tina would be supported to become house captaincy as her birthday gift. However, Shiv engineered a change of plans by electing Nimrit as the next captain.

With a ruined birthday, Tina was upset that no one checked up on her to find out how she was doing.

After the heat of the captaincy debate, the house turned into a war zone with two teams before the nominations task, which involved a spinning wheel to which a team member gets to nominate a member of the opposite team. The destined member must nominate a member of the opposite team by aiming a dart at their picture on the dartboard and stating their reason for nominating them. The photo of the nominated member is then blown by a grenade. A series of explosions were heard in the war zone of Bigg Boss 16.
