Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan will topple box office records by earning at least Rs 1,100 crore worldwide, claims producer Vashu Bhagnani in a video that has gone viral on the internet.

Father-son duo Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani appear in the video with the latter introducing themselves the real-life Bade Miyan Chhore Miyan. They talk about the action comedy featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, predicting its success at the box office.

“Rs 1,100 crore confirmed hai worldwide,” Vashu boldly asserts in the video, prompting Jackky to chime in with a spirited “tathastu (amen)”.

Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan and Pathaan, both of which released in theatres in 2023, are the only Hindi films to have achieved the Rs 1000-crore mark at the worldwide box office. Siddharth Anand’s spy action thriller grossed Rs 1,050 crore globally while Atlee’s actioner minted Rs 1,146 crore.

Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, helmed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, came close to the Rs 1000-crore milestone, having grossed Rs 900 crore worldwide.

Scheduled for release on April 10, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F.

Despite their optimism for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the Bhagnani duo's recent cinematic ventures under Pooja Entertainment — Akshay Kumar-starrer Mission Raniganj and Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath — bombed at the box office.
