Ananya Panday on Friday thanked Hrithik Roshan for his “motivating words” after the Bollywood star called the actress a “star”, praising her performance in Netflix drama Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
“Saw Kho gaye hum kahaan a few days back. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Not an easy genre. @ananyapandayy. You are a star. What a performance,” Hrithik had recently written on X, lavishing praise on Ananya for her depiction of a girl who uses social media to deal with her breakup.
Also praising Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav, who star in the film alongside Ananya, Hrithik wrote, “@SiddyChats and @gauravadarsh you guys were great.” Hrithik also praised director Arjun Varain Singh and congratulated the entire team. “It’s a must watch,” he signed off.

The film, which premiered on Netflix on December 26, marks the directorial debut of Arjun Varain Singh, who co-wrote the script with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
Ananya, who made her acting debut with 2019’s Student of the Year 2, also appeared in Dream Girl 2 alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in 2023. She will be next seen in the Amazon Prime Video series Call Me Bae.
