American Born Chinese
Disney+ released the official trailer for its upcoming superhero series American Born Chinese on Friday. Created by Kelvin Yu, it is based on the 2006 graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang, the show stars Michelle Yeoh, Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, Ke Huy Quan and Jim Liu.
The two-minute-long trailer chronicles an American-Chinese high school student Jin Wang (Ben Wang) who wants to lead a normal life. He is assigned as the guide to a new Chinese student in school. However, the new student is from another world and has superpowers. He is trying to save both worlds as evil forces are trying to destroy both.
American Born Chinese will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from May 24.
Wild Isles
Prime Video unveiled the official trailer of BBC’s upcoming nature documentary series Wild Isles on Friday late night. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the five-part docu-series will explore the natural history of the British Isles.
The one-minute-eight-second-long trailer gives a glimpse of the British Isles, which is one of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes on earth. The clip focuses on the flora of the region.
Wil Isles will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from April 23.
Khajuraaho Dreams
Saregama Malayalam has dropped the official trailer for its upcoming Malayalam-language film Khajuraaho Dreams. Helmed by Manoj Vaasudev, the film stars Arjun Ashok, Sharafudeen, Sreenath Bhasi, Dhruvan, Aditi Ravi, Naina Sarwar, Raj Arjun Chandunath and Varsha Vishawanath.
The almost three-minute-long trailer introduces us to various characters and their struggles in life. The only thing that connects them is their love for riding bikes and suddenly decide to take a road trip to Khajuraho. The video shows glimpses of the journey as the friends spend a fun time together on the way.
Maama Mascheendra
Aditya Music India on Saturday shared the official teaser of its upcoming Telugu-language trailer of Maama Mascheendra. Written and directed by Harsha Vardhan, it stars Sudheer Babu, Eesha Rebba, Mirnalini Ravi, Harsha Vardhan, Ali Reza, Rajeev Kanakala, Hariteja, Ajay, Mirchi Kiran.
The one-minute-25-second-long teaser follows a gangster who chose the path of crime after getting hurt in love. Sudheer Babu plays a double role in the film.
