Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule teaser is trending at number one spot on YouTube with over 106 million views since it was dropped on April 8, the makers of the film have announced on social media.
Sharing a video carrying details about the views and likes the teaser has received in the past three days, the makers wrote, "Pushpa Raj Stuns The Nation."
The video, which shows Allu’s sari-clad Pushpa Raj beating up goons, has garnered over 1.4 million likes on YouTube in three days.
The teaser showcases the jaathara sequence, also known as sammakka saralamma jaathara, which is a festival celebrated in Telangana to honour the tribal goddesses. This four-day festival is attended by millions of devotees every year.
Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 is a sequel to his 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, which emerged as a pan-India box-office success.
The upcoming film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Rao Ramesh, Dhanunjay, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh in important roles. Pushpa 2: The Rule is slated for a theatrical release on August 15.
