Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, slated to hit theatres on August 15, will now release on December 6, the makers announced on Monday.
Allu also shared the update on Instagram alongside a fresh poster. “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from December 6th, 2024,” Allu wrote on Instagram alongside a poster of the film.
In the poster, Allu sports a grey t-shirt underneath a brown shirt and a matching bandana on his head. He holds a sword in his hand and rests it on his shoulder.
Apart from Allu and Rashmika, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Fahadh Faasil in an important role. Written and directed by Sukumar, the film also features Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh.
Pushpa 2 is a sequel to Sukumar’s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, which emerged as a pan-India box-office success.
Devi Sri Prasad has served as the film’s music composer, while Miroslaw Kuba Brozek has worked on the cinematography.
