Akshay Kumar participated in a lively dance challenge and swayed to Mast Malang song from Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in the premiere episode of cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s new chat show on Jiocinema.
Comparing himself with the show host, Akshay told Shikhar that they both have a childlike spirit and that’s why they get along so well. “You're in cricket, and I'm in films, but you enjoy exercising and we both love sports, which is why we connect,” said the actor.
At the beginning of the episode of Dhawan Karenge, Akshay inspired his audience by sharing a life hack, recalling his father’s advice that one should always find joy in laughter. “I have one motive in my life which my dad taught me. Which is to always laugh, keep laughing he would say. He would keep repeating the same jokes all the time and we would keep laughing over and over,” he said,
“We did nothing but laugh in our house. Even when we didn’t have money, when we lived in a one-bedroom apartment, the rent was Rs 100 in Koliwada. Even then we had only one goal - keep laughing, never let there be a dull moment. And this is something I would tell everyone to follow,” he added.
Akshay also took Shikhar by the hand and made him part of the dance challenge. Together, they recreated Akshay’s iconic “Don’t Angry Me” dialogue from his 2012 film Rowdy Rathore, making for memorable moments on the show.
Following his action-packed role in the thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Tiger Shroff, Akshay is currently filming for Jolly LLB 3, also starring Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the first and second instalments of Jolly LLB portray the journey of two underdog lawyers striving for recognition and fairness within the legal arena.
