Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the best action films that Akshay Kumar has done in his career spanning over three decades, the actor said at the Dubai premiere of the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed movie on Wednesday.
“So, we have worked really hard for this and this film is one of the best action films I have ever done,” Akshay says in a video of the Dubai premiere shared by the 56-year-old on Instagram.
Set to the title track of the film, the video kicks off with Akshay and Tiger entering the venue in all-black outfits and waving to their fans in Dubai. The duo also display their moves as they groove along to the song Mast Malang Jhoom from the film. “It’s a film for everybody, so go have fun. And I wish everyone Eid Mubarak once again,” Tiger says at the end, concluding the video.
“Dubai, you were great 🤜🤛 Thank you for a dhamakedaar night,” read the caption of the post shared jointly by Akshay and Tiger on the social media platform.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan released in theatres in the UAE on April 10 to mark the occasion of Eid. It will arrive in cinemas in India today.
Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sonakshi Sinha.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehraa and Zafar, the film is a fresh take on the David Dhawan-helmed 1998 film of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.
