Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu-starrer family drama Khel Khel Mein will hit theatres on August 15, production banner T-series announced on Wednesday.

The post features a picture of Akshay, Taapsee, and Vaani Kapoor sitting on a couch in a garden along with other actors — Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, Fardeen Khan and Ammy Virk standing behind them. The poster exudes a sense of familial bonding.
Helmed by Pati Patni Aur Woh filmmaker Mudassar Aziz and backed by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, the film was initially slated to release in September. It will reportedly clash against Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Pushpa 2 at the box office.
Akshay Kumar last shared screen space with Taapsee Pannu in Mission Mangal, released in 2019. The actor also reunites with Vaani Kapoor after their 2021 action film Bell Bottom.
At present, Taapsee is preparing for the highly anticipated release of Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba, the sequel to her 2021 Netflix film Haseen Dillruba, also starring Vikrant Massey. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will be appearing in Jolly LLB 3 and Welcome to the Jungle.
