Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has shared a family picture on social media, extending birthday wishes to husband Abhishek Bachchan on Monday, amidst separation rumours.
“Here’s wishing you Happy Birthday with much happiness, love, calm, peace and good health God Bless. Shine on,” the former Miss India wrote on Instagram on Abhishek’s 48th birthday, alongside a picture of them and their daughter Aaradhya wearing matching red outfits.
In addition to the happy family portrait, Aishwarya also shared a picture from Abhishek’s childhood.
The actor’s elder sister, Shweta Bachchan, also dropped a throwback picture on Monday, wishing him on his special day. The picture shows Abhishek and Shweta playing on a couch as kids.
The Dhoom actor reacted to the post, expressing his love for his sister.
Abhishek and Aishwarya, who fell in love on the sets of Sanjay Gadhvi’s 2006 action thriller Dhoom 2, tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony on April 20, 2007. Their daughter Aaradhya was born on November 16, 2011.
On the work front, Abhishek last appeared in R. Balki’s sports drama Ghoomer, also starring Shabana Azmi, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi.
Aishwarya, on the other hand, was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s epic historical action drama film Ponniyin Selvan: II. In the film, the actress shared screen space with Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Jayaram, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar and Sobhita Dhulipala.
