It was an afternoon to remember. Actor-director Arindam Sil recently celebrated 35 years of his film journey with friends, family and colleagues at Guchhi, Hyatt Regency Kolkata. The brunch was a star-studded affair where guests mingled, shared stories, took a trip down memory lane and posed for the cameras, which captured their style and glamour. “It feels incredible in this lovely, warm atmosphere. Sometimes such get-togethers serve as inspiration. It has been a very fulfilling journey and the last 10 years as a director was incredible. My film Jongole Mitin Mashi is releasing this Durga Puja, and the film stands out for its focus on incorporating a socially relevant message. There is an intriguing plot, power-packed performances, and a message that resonates,” said Arindam Sil.
“It is a humongous achievement. Congratulations to Arindamda for a superb decade of filmmaking. I hope he continues like this,” said Srijit.
