Actor Aadar Jain got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Alekha Advani on Sunday, show a series of pictures he shared on social media.

“My first crush, my best friend & now, my forever,” Aadar, grandson of the late actor Raj Kapoor, wrote alongside the photos on Instagram.

The first picture shows Aadar getting down on one knee and proposing to Alekha by the seaside in Maldives. While Aadar sported a blue striped shirt paired with white trousers, Alekha donned a sheer strapless long dress paired with a matching scarf around the neck.

Reacting to the post in the comment section, Aadar’s cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Yayyyyyyyy Mehendi laga ke rakhna ..doli saja ke rakhna.”

Ananya Panday commented, “Congratulations!!!!! Soooooo beautiful,” while Rasika Dugal wrote, “Congratulations. @aadarjain Hey Dulha.”

Karisma Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Maheep Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Jibraan Khan also congratulated the couple in the comments section.

Aadar made his relationship with Alekha official on November 13, 2023 by sharing a picture of them holding hands on Instagram.

“Light of my life,” Aadar wrote alongside their photo.

Aadar is known for acting in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), Qaidi Band (2017) and Hello Charlie (2021). The 30-year-old actor-director was last seen in Khel Khel Mein alongside Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Taapsee Pannu. Alekha is an Indian entrepreneur, a model and founder of Way well, a Mumbai-based wellness community.
