In the aftermath of a shocking murder at a high society gathering in Calcutta, a compassionate lawyer risks his career and safety to defend the prime suspect, unravelling a web of family secrets and past sins in his quest for justice in the upcoming Hoichoi series Advocate Achinta Aich, which streams from April 26.
The Dutta family’s glittering facade shatters when their talented grandson Pablo is found murdered, allegedly by his new bride, Malini. Despite their once-celebrated musical lineage and impeccable reputation, the family is plunged into a whirlwind of scandal and intrigue. As the Dutta family scrambles to seek justice for Pablo, they enlist the formidable criminal lawyer Sitaram Ganguly to ensure Malini faces the harshest punishment.
In contrast, Malini’s mother turns to Achinta, a lawyer for whom this is the first case that deals with human equations. With little resources and a motley crew of allies, Achinta delves into the dark underbelly of the Dutta family’s history. As he uncovers long-buried secrets and a connection to a decades-old unsolved murder, Achinta’s own life is put at risk. But driven by a newfound sense of purpose, he is determined to uncover the truth behind Pablo’s murder.
