From animated shows to car stunts and high school drama to suspense thrillers, new trailers dropped by streaming platform Netflix on Monday late night are sure to pique your interest.
Here is a list of some of the most promising trailers of upcoming Netflix shows and films you must check out right away.
I Came By
The streaming giant has released the trailer of their upcoming film I Came By starring Downton Abbey fame Hugh Bonneville. The film also stars 1917’s George MacKay and Kelly Macdonald of Boardwalk Empire.
The film is helmed by Babak Anvari, who previously directed Under the Shadow and written by Anvari along with Namsi Khan. The official synopsis of the film reads, “Privilege hides the darkest secrets. After uncovering a sinister secret of a prestigious judge (Hugh Bonneville), a young graffiti artist (George Mackay) and his loved ones are dragged into a deadly game of cat and mouse.”
The two-minute-long trailer gives us a glimpse of the suspense that is in store as we go into the darkness of Hugh Bonneville’s basement. The trailer hints at a serial killer angle to the story, but there is no direct evidence in the trailer to confirm that. However, the trailer has successfully managed to pique the interest of the viewers.
I Came By will premiere on Netflix on August 31.
