Biswas said a dedicated team would deliver essential products at the homes of the elderly

The councillor of ward 81 of the Calcutta Municipal Corporation, Jui Biswas, appealed to elderly residents in her ward whose relatives live outside the city to contact her for any needs and asked them to not step out of home to procure anything. Biswas said a dedicated team would deliver the products at the homes of these people. The orders can be placed between 7am and 9am. The councillor can be contacted at 9088080000.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has extended the last date for online submission of forms for the postgraduate admission test of Presidency University. The last date has been extended from March 26 to April 3.

HS office closed

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has announced that the council’s head office and four other regional offices will remain closed till March 27. The closure began from March 23.

The Fathers of St Xavier’s College on Monday offered prayers for protection and cure from Covid-19, Father Dominic Savio, the principal of the Park Street college said.
