The Telegraph Edugraph 18 under 18 Awards Chapter II all set to unfold on Jan 19

The Grand Event this year brings together a wide range of talents–from tennis and karate, to music, dance and performance arts, as well as social work

The clock is ticking and we are almost at the 11th hour! The 18 stars of The Telegraph Edugraph 18 under 18 Awards Chapter II, presented by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and co-powered by Vivekananda Mission School, Joka are about to receive their honours on Thursday. The grand event to felicitate these youngsters from across Eastern India is all set to be hosted at GD Birla Sabhagar on January 19, 2023.

As Team Edugraph makes last minute preparations to welcome our esteemed jury and the immensely talented lot from across the 12 states of east India, we are sure that the nominees, selected from among an incredible 1,200+ nominations from 250+ schools across Eastern India, also wait with baited breath for the final results.

Our 50 finalists, who’s profile you can check out on our website, have been interviewed and assessed by the handpicked jury, all stalwarts and luminaries in their respective fields. Now, the final scores are in. In the meantime, we also ran a poll to find the people’s choice, and with the vote count completed - the Popular Choice Winner is also set to be announced on stage.

Our Grand Event this year brings together a wide range of talents–from tennis and karate, to music, dance and performance arts, as well as social work. These participants hail from both big cities and small towns, all vying to make a place for themselves, their cities and their schools.

Speaking of schools, the Telegraph Edugraph 18 under 18 Awards owes a lot of its success to principals and administrators of schools who were instrumental in recognising these talents and nominating them for the awards. At this juncture, let's have a look at what some of the principals have to say about the initiative and the bright children who have made it to the final 50 of the event:
