Calcuttans will get to choose their vehicle of choice as The Telegraph Auto Weekend Carnival zooms into town on Friday.
The three-day fair in the Kund area of City Centre Salt Lake will see seven auto giants — Honda, Hyundai, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen — showcase their mean machines.
Volkswagen Polo and Vento, Honda Amaze, Toyota Glanza and XUV300 from Mahindra will be the models to watch out for.
Hyundai will bring an attractive bouquet of four cars — Venue, i10 NIOS, Creta and Elite i20.
Wagon R, the trusted old favourite, and S-Presso, a brand new mini-SUV that is making the right noises in the market, are the offerings from the Maruti stable.
Nissan Kicks, the latest offering from the Japanese automobile maker, will be another of the attractions, the organisers said.
The fair will be inaugurated at 4pm on Friday. “We are expecting 4,000 visitors on Friday itself. The footfall should go up over the weekend,” an organiser said.
