Combination of methamphetamine and caffeine, Yaba is addictive stimulant with huge demand in Bangladesh

The Border Security Force posted at the India-Bangladesh border in South Dinajpur district seized Yaba tablets worth nearly Rs 23 lakh on Sunday night and caught the person with the consignment.

A BSF team of the 137th battalion acted on information and intercepted Razzaq Ali, of Kumargada village under Gangarampur police station, at Kashiadanga under Patiram police station.

“He was on a bike when the BSF nabbed him and found 4,574 Yaba tablets on him, the cost of which is around Rs 22.87 lakh. He was carrying the tablets from Kamalpur to Thakurpura near the international border, and had planned to smuggle them to Bangladesh,” said a source.
