Educator, progressive thinker and Brahmo leader Rajnarayan Bose passed away on this day. He helped to translate the Upanishads into English for Tattvabodhini Sabha soon after college. He taught English for a while at Sanskrit College before taking up the position of headmaster at Midnapore District School.
