In a significant milestone for Indian academia, Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury, Founder and Managing Director of Techno India Group (TIG) and Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, has been conferred with the prestigious title of Honorary Academician of 2024 by the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts of Turin, Italy.

The event marks an extraordinary moment, as Roychowdhury becomes the first Indian to receive this esteemed European recognition from one of Italy’s foremost state institutions under the Ministry of University and Research (MIUR).

The grand ceremony, held in Calcutta, was graced by luminaries, including H.E. Riccardo Dalla Costa, Hon’ble Consul General of Italy in Calcutta, and visiting dignitaries from the Albertina Academy.
