A Himalayan black bear sneaked into a marriage hall at Malbazar town in Jalpaiguri on Thursday.

The bear was tranquilised and taken away by a team of foresters.

Sources said workers cleaning the hall after an event on Wednesday spotted the bear inside a room and locked it immediately.

Hundreds gathered to catch a glimpse of the animal.
