Teachers checking ISC answer scripts will have to submit the marks of students to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) from home through a new online process devised by the council.
Examiners will have to upload the marks and submit them online to the council using their laptop, personal computer, tablet or smart phones once they complete the evaluation, the CISCE has said.
Gerry Arathoon, CISCE secretary and chief executive, has given the directive in a letter to the examiners.
The CISCE had on March 18 stopped the centralised evaluation and asked the examiners to check the answer scripts from home as a precaution against the spread of coronavirus. They had been told that after the evaluation, they would be required to go to their respective evaluation centres and submit the marks online.
