Ministers Firhad Hakim, Jyotipriya Mallik and Arup Roy on Thursday prayed before Calcutta High Court for an urgent hearing of their petition that sought the recall of an order to make the Enforcement Directorate a party to a PIL which had accused the trio and 16 other Trinamul Congress legislators of amassing wealth disproportionate to their declared income.

The prayer was made by the ministers’ counsels before a division bench headed by Chief Justice Prakash Shrivastava. The bench assured the lawyers that the petition would be heard soon.
