Three new attractions will be opened at the Narendranarayan Park or NN Park in Cooch Behar town on the occasion of the Bengali New Year on Friday.
These are a selfie zone, an artificial hillock and waterfall, and a senior citizens’ corner.
Earlier, attractions like a toy train and boating were introduced at the park built back in 1881 by the then royals of Cooch Behar.

Established in the heart of the town, the park measures 5.7 hectares, including a water body of one hectare.
It is maintained by the park and gardens wing of the state forest department. Sources said that as of no, around 10,000 people visit the park every month.
With the new attractions, it is being hoped that the footfall increases. The new attractions are targeted at all age groups to come and spend time at the park.
