Car falls into gorge, 2 die

Two youths died and one was injured after the car they were in fell into a gorge from the road of Champaguri, a hill in Nagrakata block here, on Friday morning. Police sources said Ganesh Oraon, 22, driving the car, Vishal Gope, 19, and Rohan Oraon, 19, were going from Champaguri to Nagrakata, when the car fell into a 300-foot-deep gorge. Ganesh and Vishal died while Rohan is critical.He is admitted to North Bengal Medical College & Hospital. “We suspect a sudden technical fault in the car led to the accident,” said a police officer.
