The BJP has suppressed student movements. They tag any dissent as anti-national. They they are not bothered about the plight of the farmers protesting at Delhi borders. They are worse than any other party.
Since coming to power at the Centre, they (BJP) have been destroying the core values of the Indian society. I help run a magazine that tries to promote scientific spirit. But the BJP is slowly destroying the scientific spirit.
Remember the Muzaffarnagar riots, the Delhi riots? No other party has orchestrated a communal riot the way the BJP has…. The BJP-RSS combine thrives on dividing people.
The safety and security of women in BJP-ruled states is very bad. I remember an instance when a woman held a poster against the BJP while they were taking out a rally in Garia. She was teased.
I am consciously saying ‘do not vote for BJP’. I know this would mean asking people to vote for others. I would not recommend any party, but if the BJP comes to power it would erode the freedom we enjoy in Bengal.
