Iskcon is set to reopen its Calcutta temple from October 1 with precautionary measures against Covid-19 in place.
Visitors will be allowed from 5pm to 8pm and wearing masks is mandatory.
Prasad, flowers and tulsi will not be distributed and only eight people will be allowed at a time. “We were getting requests to reopen the temple but we could not do so,” said Iskcon Calcutta spokesperson Radharaman Das.
Iskcon’s Chandradaya temple in Mayapur reopened on September 9.
