Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday visited Moulali and Behala and requested people over a loudhailer to stay indoors.

“I am aware of the inconvenience you all are facing because of the lockdown. We are also running around because of this. If I get infected, I have no problem. But we have to perform our duty,” the chief minister said.

Going by the trend, members of the same family were getting infected with Covid-19.

“This means we need to be cautious. We should not share utensils. We should not share food during this period,” she said.

The chief minister has been touring the city for the past two days and visited Rajabazar, Narkeldanga, Park Circus, Ballygunge, Dhapa and Topsia, all of which have reported most lockdown violations in the past few weeks.
