BSF nabs youth for 'job con' on aspirants of central security forces

Troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) posted at the sector headquarters in Kishanganj of Bihar under the north Bengal frontier apprehended a youth on Sunday for allegedly duping aspirants of the central security forces.

Vikas Kumar, who is from Khagaria district of Bihar, was nabbed on a tip-off while he was roaming near the Asfaque Ulla Khan Stadium close to the Khagra camp of the BSF.

Vikas was even wearing BSF camouflages.

Sources said that the youth was involved in duping candidates since 2016 and had taken money from them while assuring them jobs in the central security forces.

Two cell phones, some Indian currency, three ATM cards, a voter card, and a fake Aadhaar card were recovered from the youth.

Later, Vikas was handed over to the Sadar police station in Kishanganj.
