The BSF apprehended two Bangladeshis from different locations in Cooch Behar district while they were trying to infiltrate into India on Saturday.
Sources said the sixth battalion of the BSF deployed at Amar border outpost had intercepted Sujon Mia, 28, who hails from Gaibandha district of Bangladesh.
According to the sources, Mia had plans to go to Tamil Nadu.
Indian and Bangladeshi currencies, two cellphones and a motorcycle have been seized from him.
Swapna Begum, a 34-year-old woman hailing from Narail district of Bangladesh, was nabbed by the same battalion posted at the Karan border outpost as she illegally crossed the border.
Both were handed over to police.
