Bengal on Thursday reported 42 new Covid-19 infections, 39 recoveries and no death.

Currently, there are 398 active cases in the state: 387 in home isolation and 11 in hospitals, according to the state bulletin.

The state’s positive confirmation rate — samples which tested positive — was 0.47 per cent, with 9,023 samples being tested on Thursday. Bengal’s recovery rate was 98.93 per cent and mortality rate 1.05 per cent on Thursday.
