Bengal logs 337 Covid-19 cases, 190 recoveries, one death

According to a state government bulletin, the recovery rate was 98.86 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Thursday

Bengal on Thursday logged 337 Covid-19 cases, 190 recoveries and one death.

The state has at present 2,665 active patients — 2,538 in home isolation and 127 at hospitals. According to a state government bulletin, the recovery rate was 98.86 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Thursday. On a day 7,561 samples were tested, the positivity rate was 4.46 per cent. Since the pandemic broke out in 2020, the state has recorded 21,12,194 cases, of which 20,88,036 have made full recoveries. 21,493 fatalities have been recorded in the state so far. Total precaution doses administered stood at 1,48,79,628 whereas precaution doses administered on Thursday stood at 32,986.
