Bengal on Sunday logged 296 new Covid-19 cases, 482 recoveries and four deaths.

Currently, there are 3,891 active cases in the state with 111 in hospitals, according to the state bulletin.

Recovery rate was 98.80 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Sunday. The case positivity rate stood at 3.07 per cent when 9,634 samples were tested.

Since the pandemic broke out in 2020, the state has recorded 21,04,755 cases, of which 20,79,422 have made full recoveries and 21,441 have died so far.

Total precaution (booster) doses administered stood at 12,389,945 whereas precaution doses administered on Sunday stood at 1,35,919.
