Bengal on Thursday logged 252 new Covid-19 cases, 394 recoveries and two deaths.

Bengal has 3,236 active cases, including 182 in hospitals. Recovery rate was 98.83 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Thursday. Positivity rate stood at 2.70 per cent on a day when 9,325 samples were tested.

Since the pandemic broke out in 2020, the state logged 21,05,787 cases, of which 20,81,100 recovered and 21,451 died so far.

In all, 12,941,458 precaution (booster) doses have been administered in Bengal. Precaution doses administered on Thursday stood at 1,41,836.
