The Bengal Congress has issued a booklet, “Dwicharita (two-facedness)”, that attacks Trinamul and the BJP.
Bengali versions of campaign material from the AICC have come out earlier but this is the first such dossier from the state unit in several years.
The 16-page booklet says Narendra Modi has failed as the “country’s chowkidar (watchman)” and Mamata Banerjee as the state’s “paharadar (guard)”. “The attempt by both is to shift the discourse from real issues to distractions. This is the dwicharita we want to expose,” said Congress MP Pradip Bhattacharya.
