B-schools in UK, Calcutta tie up

The Cambridge Marketing College, UK, and iLEAD Institute, a Calcutta-based private B-school, have together launched a slew of short-term marketing courses focusing on emerging technologies.

The courses are on data mining and analytics, predictive and perspective analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics and bloc chain.

These tools, management experts believe, enhance efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activities in a competitive marketplace. The city-based institute has also got the right to publish the Indian edition of the Cambridge Marketing Review by incorporating Indian case studies.

Pradip Chopra, chairman, i-LEAD, said the joint venture was to create a web platform to bring all professionals in marketing together so that they could share their success stories as well as failures and learn from each other. “This will help development of a well-networked fraternity.”
