Bengal on Monday reported 436 Covid-19 infections, 2,251 recoveries and six deaths.

Currently, the state has 13,493 active patients — 13,123 in home isolation and 370 at hospitals. According to a state government bulletin, the positive recovery rate was 98.34 per cent and mortality rate 1.02 per cent on Monday. The number of tested samples was 6,879. The case positivity rate stood at 6.34 per cent.

The state has so far recorded 20, 94,327 cases, 20,59,462 recoveries and 21,372 fatalities.

In the wake of the recent uptick in cases, booster doses being administered in the state have also increased. So far, 90,73,264 booster doses have been administered.

On Monday, 3,22,383 booster doses were administered across Bengal.
