288 new Covid infections

The state’s positive confirmation rate was 2.42 per cent, the recovery rate 98.87 per cent and the mortality rate 1.05 per cent on Saturday

Bengal on Saturday reported 288 new Covid-19 infections, 69 recoveries and no death.

Currently, there are 1,625 active cases in the state: 1,584 in home isolation and 41 in hospitals, according to the government bulletin.

The state’s positive confirmation rate was 2.42 per cent, the recovery rate 98.87 per cent and the mortality rate 1.05 per cent on Saturday.

On Saturday, 11,258 samples were tested.

In light of the recent uptick in cases, the demand for booster doses has increased. So far, 32,80,407 booster doses have been administered in Bengal.
