In Bengal, if CM, home minister, health minister Mamata is protesting, who will fix things?

If chief minister Mamata Banerjee who is also Bengal’s home and health minister, is protesting, then who is working on redressal?

It has been 14 days since a postgraduate trainee doctor was brutally raped and murderer in Calcutta's state-run RG Kar Hospital, and the city has turned into a republic of protest. The outrage by thousands of citizens was fueled by an overwhelming sense of grief and helplessness.

Braving all odds, the protesters, who are at the receiving end of an apathetic state, have continued with their protests undeterred.

Mamata Banerjee — West Bengal chief minister and the minister overseeing the state’s police and health department also protested on the streets, demanding justice for the RG Kar victim. If the chief minister is also protesting, then who is listening and working on redressal?
