West Indies held their nerves as the last-wicket pair of Kemar Roach and newcomer Jayden Seales guided them to a thrilling one-wicket win over Pakistan in the first cricket Test in Kingston on Sunday.

Roach remained not out on 30 while Seales contributed with two as the Windies reached the target of 168/9 after bowling Pakistan out for 203 in the second innings.

Brief scores: Pak 217 & 203 (B. Azam 55; J. Seales 5/55). WI 253 & 168/9 (J. Blackwood 55, K. Roach 30 n.o.). WI won by 1 wicket
