Verdant Colts and Ironmen won their respective matches at the Q9 Golf League at the RCGC on Thursday. The Colts defeated Designer Landscapes 39-35 while Ironmen won 42-39 versus Par & Tee.

In game one of the first match, the Colts, represented by Nishant Baheti and Vikash Baheti, prevailed over Anindya Parekh and Vishal Singhania of the Landscapes 18-16. The Landscapes suffered a similar fate in the second game as well as Navneet Manaksia and Kanishka Sethia lost by an identical two-point margin to Manish Rastogi and Siddhartha Dutta.

The match between Ironmen and Par & Tee was tighter. In the first game, Jai Vardhan Kejriwal and Verinder Kumar Chadha of Ironmen won easily against Harsh Hada and Gurshaan Grewal.

But in the second, Deven Shah and Rahesh Venkatesh stretched Ironmen’s Navin Nayar and Prateek Jain to the limit as it ended in a tie.
