In view of the current pandemic situation, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has decided to distribute free masks and sanitisers to spectators who would attend the third and final T20I between India and New Zealand to be played at Eden Gardens on November 21.

A turnout of maximum 70 per cent of the stadium capacity will be allowed on game day, as per a state government directive.

Spectators will also have to undergo thermal scanning before entering the stadium, while no decision has been made yet on whether any special measures would be taken for kids. However, the fans will not be required to furnish RT-PCR test results or vaccination certificates while entering the ground. As for the seating arrangement in each of the blocks, after every three occupied seats, one chair has to be kept vacant.

With online ticket sales already having begun and the response being positive so far, CAB members and the clubs/affiliated units will be getting their share of tickets from Tuesday onwards. The association has been on its toes as the Eden gets ready to host its first international game after two years.
